After traveling to more than 50 countries, I’ve gotten to experience a lot of the world! However, there’s something incredible about what I am able to see at home–I never get tired of glimpsing the beauty of the Rockies, or ever stop pondering how life can thrive in the harsh deserts of the American West. While I will definitely add information I’ve learned from my international journeys, my recent adventures through the United States and North America are more up-to-date.

The biggest challenge of seeing the best of the outdoors in the United States? There is just so much! You could spend a lifetime just exploring one state or another, and since we have so many public lands available (not just national parks), there are just some experiences that you are going to miss out on. As much as this is heartbreaking for me, that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop trying!
